Join us for a fun family-oriented event at the beautiful HITS Showgrounds in Saugerties, NY, featuring a 5K Race, Kids' Fun Mile run, and a 2-mile Walk. All proceeds to benefit the United Way of Ulster County.
Description:
The United Way 5K is an annual fitness event to raise funds for the United Way of Ulster County. Formerly the Lowe's 5K, again this year's race is located at the HITS Showgrounds in Saugerties, courtesy of this event's sponsor, Tom Struzzieri. It features a 5K run, a 2-mile walk, children's one-mile fun run, dancing, drumming, raffles, refreshments and fun.
Registration fees for runners are $20 prior to March 20, 2012, $25 from March 21, 2012 until race day, free for children under 12; and $15 for Walkers prior to March 20, 2012, $20 from March 21 until race day. Onteora Runners, Mid-Hudson Roadrunners, and Shawangunk Runners members may deduct $2 per entry. Additional Information
T-shirts for all pre-registered participants. Awards for overall male & female runners and top finishers in 10-year age groups. Prize drawings for all participants with race number - must be present to win.
